Our Pre-Kindergarten Environment
Universal Satori Learning Centers, Inc. environment is bright and colorful, encouraging children to be creative. Each pre-kindergarten classroom has been designed to offer a variety of stimulating activities. We incorporate many interest areas in our classrooms, including:
- Language & Literacy
- Creative Art
- Music Appreciation
- Physical Education
Our classrooms (3-5 year olds) maintain a child to staff ratio of 11:1, allowing staff members to work with the children individually, in small groups, and as a class each day. As with the other age groups, a daily report is sent home, summarizing your child's day at USLC! In addition, our staff maintains an assessment portfolio for each child, which tracks developmental progress using graphs, checklists and work samples. Children’s assessment portfolios are stored in the classroom with their journals, alphabet books, and other work in progress – these materials are always available for parents to review.
